Window Repair and Glass Replacement Project in Carryduff
C2 Repairs recently completed a project in Carryduff where the homeowner was experiencing significant condensation between the panes of several windows. The double glazing had blown, allowing moisture to build up inside the glass units and reducing both visibility and insulation.
During our inspection we also found that several hinges and opening mechanisms had failed, which meant some windows were difficult to operate and were no longer sealing correctly.
The customer wanted to restore the performance of their windows without replacing the full units.

- Replacing faulty hinges and opening mechanisms
- Adjusting and aligning the windows to ensure a tight, draught-free seal
All existing uPVC frames were retained, allowing the homeowner to benefit from upgraded performance without the cost of new windows.

Once the work was completed, the windows were fully restored and upgraded. The improvements included:
